Okay, so I've finally sketched out a drawing that I plan on posting soon. I'm going to throw it in scraps until it's colored. That is when my tablet gets back.
I got a really spiffy new tablet for Christmas, and my computer's fixed so I can use Photoshop again, and guess what?! The tablet has dead zones so I have to send it back. They'll be replacing it soon though.
In the mean time, I decided to catch up the Avatar Series... and have become a raging fangirl. And have spawned two new ones too.
I actually had a dream last night that started off kinda weird, and evolved into bizarre with a twist of Avatar thrown in there. If anyone's interested in hearing about it, say so and I'll throw it in a journal up here.
Life has been currently interesting. I, myself have thankfully caught on to some of Aang's cheerful optimism from watching him so much. Kate was right when she said that watching a series long enough makes you pick up character's traits. xD
Tj's been adoring me being on winter break and has been using that every chance he gets to drag me off and sit me in front of a video game and make me play. He's hugging my arm as I type.
Creativity in a Box is ALMOST done!
I need to adjust the layout and tweak a few visual things but we should be ready to open soon!
No news on headaches yet, nor new medication. I did sprain my ankle a few days back though. I can almost walk on it without pain again, but I still can't twist it nor do I have a good range of motion.
Acen costumes have been kind of put on the sidelines. I hope to finish my main prop before school starts again, and make the costumes over spring break. Before anyone gets on my case about procrastinating, there's a method to my madness.
Taking a leaf out of Rinn's book-- Thanks to all of you, my great friends, who have stuck with me through thick and thin. You really have no idea how much I appreciate you all, and I feel like I don't show it nearly enough.
I hope you have a wonderful New Year, and that you hold on to everything that's happened and gone well, and whatever went wrong get's tossed out with 2007. Let this year be a time to turn over a new leaf. It seems cheezy, but right now I think it's what everyone needs. I know I do.
To end on an artistic note, I finished throwing together a wallpaper last night, which I'll post as well. Dang drawing with a mouse is annoying! I can't wait to have my tablet back!!

I hate PSP and Photoshop!!!

This was going to be a journal about "Holy carp, I'z gonna update some schtuffs!"But it ain't now...
I finally have 6 tons of inspiration. I've been having really, really interestingly artistic dreams lately... And now I can't draw it.

In short, my comp hates Photoshop now. No matter how many times I uninstall and reinstall it, it won't open anything. It won't create new files. It just says "program error".
So I go to use Paint Shop Pro Photo XI. It's the worst pain in the butt program for a photoshop user.
Every line I draw is shakey. And it takes 5 minutes to catch up with my pen.
So. Even though I said to expect some awesome art coming... Forget it!
Until I fix my comp or get a Dual Platform tablet so that I can use my CS2 again, I most likely won't have anything to upload.

This is the last journal I'll post this week... promise! >.<

Heya, folks.
First of all, I'd like to appologise to Rinn and Lysha and Kate, whom I screamed at yesterday. I don't really want to go into it here, but I'll talk to you. Yesterday just kinda... yeah.
Sorry about that...

Secondly... and totally not the same topic.
Steve wants me to recreate my fall and put it on Youtube, and swears we'd get a billion views. He said he wishes he had a camcorder at the time.
So for those of you who DIDN'T see that this morning... here's a recap according to Steve...
"KATIE!" -face lights up as I start running-
-backpack falls, and strap gets caught around my foot and I fall face first-
-bounce-
-keep sliding another 5 feet "like a toboggan"
He wants to recreate it, and then make a "techno remix" of it, with me falling, going back up and falling and going back up with a flash animation of a yo-yo string.
...
Yeah.
I actually can't complain though, because for as painful as it was, it was funny even to me.
